Mount Mother Land
Annual Summit 2025

A transformative two-day event fostering collaboration between Africa and its diaspora to drive innovation and impact.

Day 1
Saturday, February 8th, 2025

Key Highlights

The Mother Land Summit 2025 marked a landmark moment in Africa’s global economic evolution. Convened in partnership with Afreximbank, the Summit gathered dignitaries, investors, entrepreneurs, and policymakers from across the African continent and diaspora to reimagine the scope and scale of intra-African trade, placing the global African diaspora at its centre.

Held in London, the Summit brought together delegates and representatives from over 14 African countries, alongside delegations from leading international institutions including the United Nations, World Trade Organization, African Union, The Commonwealth, and the World Economic Forum.

This year’s programme featured bold conversations, strategic unveilings, and cross-sector collaborations aimed at strengthening economic ties between African states and their diaspora populations. From diaspora investment to digital innovation, from tourism to trade policy, the Summit demonstrated Mother Land Hub’s vision of turning brain drain into brain gain by forging a more connected, prosperous, and borderless African economic future.

Looking Ahead to 2026

Dignitaries from over 20 African countries are expected to attend the Mother Land Summit 2026, and new initiatives will be unveiled ahead of the summit In Q3 2025 to deepen diaspora engagement and economic collaboration. These will focus on diaspora tourism and digital skills training.

We continually welcome ambitious partners that are passionate and driven to build Africa’s tomorrow today.
